Welcome

Welcome Karcher Families,

I hope this message finds you excited and energized just like the atmosphere at Karcher Middle School. We are so excited to kick off the 2025-2026 school year with a beautiful school and wonderful outside facility space!

Burlington Area School District along with Karcher Middle School are excited about being Compassionate, Committed and Comprehensive to ensure a wonderful experience for all of our students!

At Karcher our wonderful staff is Compassionate about our students.   We allow all students the opportunity to learn and be successful while maintaining positive, high quality relationships. We encourage students to try numerous classes, activities, clubs and athletics during their middle school years as an excellent part of the journey through adolescence.

Karcher is Committed  to serving over 800 amazing students, with fantastic teachers and support staff who build and maintain high quality relationships with every student.

Finally, we at Karcher are Comprehensive, with our rigorous curriculum which allows students to explore many options of coursework and our “house system” which allows a family atmosphere as students navigate their way through the middle school years.

Scheduling Message from the School Counselors:

The moment you’ve all been patiently waiting for is here, schedules are being released the last week in August.  All efforts were made to accommodate first choices and alternates, although in some cases, due to schedule constraints, this may not have been possible.  Please note that the only schedule changes that we will be able to make at this time will be those that involve an error (such as a class accidentally slated in multiple periods of the day).

We’re excited for a great year - full of opportunities for academic and personal growth.
